Stated Interest Rate


The Stated Interest Rate is the interest rate set forth on an obligation and is the amount of interest that the issuer paid.  For example, if the issuer pays $40 on an obligation with a face value of $1000, then the stated interest rate is 4 percent. Citation: IRC § 1274(d).
